If everything falls in place and if Shah Rukh Khan gives his nod, then both Shah Rukh and Ranbir will share screen space very soon. Bengali director Srijit Mukherjee, whose latest release 'Autograph' has been a roaring success in Kolkata, wants to remake his film in Hindi.
The Bengali film starring Prasenjit Chatterjee, Nandana and Indraneil Sengupta, revolved around three characters, that of an aspiring director, a fading superstar and a theater actress.
Now, for the Hindi version, Ranbir Kapoor has been finalized to play the director and talks are going on with King Khan, who seems to be a bit reluctant to play the fading superstar. The reason is very obvious since the character has a very close similarity with his real life!
However, producer Madhu Mantena, who was very excited to see the success of the Bengali film, is ready to change the script for Shah Rukh but director Srijit is willing to go ahead with the original story.
Now, it's all up to Shah Rukh if he agrees to sign 'Autograph' at least for the sake of his celebrity fan Ranbir Kapoor, who is excited to work with him. Does it mean that SRK considers himself a fading superstar and if not then he should take up the project because he has hardly any other project except Ra One.
