Music composer Bappi Lahiri showed his generous side when he gave away gold chains to the contestants of Zee TV's "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar".

Abhilasha, Ranjeet, Kamal, Bisakh, Sugandha and Ali Sher were overjoyed after receiving the token of appreciation from the veteran musician.

"Bappi da was so impressed with the pool of talent that he could not stop himself from giving away gold chains to all the contestants, " said a source.

A thrilled Bisakh said: "Bappi Da's compositions are a class apart. He simply loved my rendition on 'Pug Ghungroo...' and rewarded me with a gold chain. I'm going to cherish these moments all my life...."
