Filmmaker Kunal Kohli has roped in actor Shahid Kapoor to star in his next project.

"Shahid Kapoor and me working together in my next film. Will hopefully sign the heroine in the next few days. Will keep you posted, " Kohli wrote on his Twitter page.

Right now Kohli's production venture "Break Ke Baad", starring Deepika Padukone and Imran Khan, is running in the theatres. The film is about modern day relationships and its problems.

Shahid is currently busy shooting for his father Pankaj Kapoor's directorial venture "Mausam" where he plays an Air Force officer.
