The buzz doing the rounds lately was that Anushka Sharma was going to be part of another guy dominating movie after Badmaash Company. But the lady has squashed the rumors by stating that she won't be part of the new film Desi Boyz. The action comedy film will launch David Dhawan;s son Rohit Dhawan as director and is produced by Eros.

It was said earlier that the role Anushka was supposed to play was an important one in the film.

However, the 22-year-old actress said that she is not starring in Dezi Boyz and doesn't have anything more to say about it. The film has an ensemble cast of the biggies of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Deepika Padukone and Chitrangda Singh.

Earlier the report was that the role offered to Chitrangda was penned for Lara Dutta but as she was unable to give time to Desi Boyz because of date clash, the role was offered to Anushka. The petite lady has been in quite a demand since her debut film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, in which she starred opposite Shah Rukh Khan.

Next week her film Band Baaja Baaraat will release and following it will be Patiala House on February 11 next year. Anushka seems to have her hands full for some time now.
