Shahid Kapoor is keen on a change of image. After playing loverboy in several flicks, he wants to be an action hero now.
Producer Sajid Nadiadwala is putting his money on actioners Kick and Heer & Ranjha starring Salman Khan and Shahid Kapoor respectively.
He has hired legendary French stunt director Philippe Guegan to train the two stars, come January.
However, Guegan was to train only Sallu for Kick. But now, a number of stylish action sequences are being incorporated into Sabir Khan's Heer & Ranjha for Shaks, who will train with the French action director, partly in Mumbai and mostly in Paris, where his film is being shot.
Confirms Shahid, "Action is certainly on my mind. Sabir's film will have lots of it. But it's too early to reveal our plans."
Khan reveals that Kapoor will work to build his muscles to a sinewy edge. Apart from Guegan, Vic Armstrong (Harrison Ford's stunt double in the Indiana Jones series) to train the young actor. With these two names guiding his way, Shahid can't possibly go wrong.
Khan's H&R won't just be a contemporary take on the Heer-Ranjha legend. It will be an action-romance for which Shaks will train for at least two months to get the muscle-profile right.
It is learnt that post-Kaminey, Shahid was keen to do a sequel with Vishal Bhardwaj with far more in- your-face stunts than Kaminey. But that never happened.

Heer And Ranjha will be the first B-Town film since Shakti Samanta's An Evening In Paris 44 years ago to be shot entirely in the French capital city.
