This Friday is special one for Bollywood hunk John Abraham as he is ready to celebrate his birthday.

The B-town macho actor will turn 38 on Friday. "Thank u all for the sweet Bday wishes fr John, " tweeted his girlfriend Bipasha Basu.

Starting his career as a model, John was successful in establishing himself as an actor in the tinseltown with his acting skills.

Abraham made his film debut with Jism, which made earned him the Filmfare Best Debut Award nomination. But it was 'Dhoom' which made John a real star in Bollywood.

He received two Filmfare Award nominations for his negative roles in 'Dhoom', and then in 'Zinda'.

However, it was only after doing Deepa Mehta's 2005 Oscar nominated film 'Water' that John tasted open-armed critical acclaim. In 2007, he was nominated for a 'Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor' for the film 'Baabul'.

Since then, John has always entertained his fans in multiple avatars, from a macho man to a comic character, he has done them all with success and skill.

Surely, it will be a pleasant gift for all his fans this year if he pledges to gift more successful movies in future.
