You saw her as the brooding problem kid in Banegi Apni Baat. She went on to make a distinct mark as Soha in Swabhimaan.
Then came a slew of roles portraying her as the bold, shrewd, ambitious woman who knows how to hold her own in the
corporate world.
Now, watch her don the crown of a feisty queen and fight a glorious battle in Zee TV's Jhansi Ki Rani.
Cast as the sharp and aggressive Rani of Orchha, actress Achint Kaur is all excited at the prospect of playing a historical figure.
"I'm waiting to sink my teeth into this role. The Rani of Orchha is a woman on a mission. She's a firebrand, even egoistic. I am
going to have to wield the sword and perform a lot of stunts. This is the first time I'll be doing an epic historical drama and I love
the sheer detailing that has gone into bringing alive the magic of that period.
"I love the sets, the clothes, the jewelry, the works! It's like getting into a time-machine and going all the way back to a bygone
era that one had only read about in history books, " said Achint.
With her strong face, her fine figure, her height and above all a penchant for portraying powerful roles with élan, seems this is
one role Achint was almost destined to play!
