Dabangg bags five awards at Big Star Entertainment Awards

Salman Khan's blockbuster film "Dabangg" sweeped five tropies at the debut Big Star Entertainment awards here Tuesday night.

It won best film, best actor, best director, best entertaining song ("Munni badnaam hui") and best male singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for the song "Mast mast do nain".

Salman Khan won the most entertaining film actor award and Dharmendra bagged the Big star entertainer for 50 years of glory.

Many other winners of different categories were also announced and the awards will be aired Dec 31 on Star TV. The announcements were made by bigwigs such as Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Vidya Balan, Karan Johar, Rajkumar Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Tina Ambani and Sushir Mishra, among others.
