Saif Ali Khan, sisters Soha and Sabah, girlfriend Kareena Kapoor and mother Sharmila Tagore are planning a memorable birthday for their father Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi.
The former India captain turns 70 on January 5.
The siblings will host a bash for him at their ancestral home. Sharmila is putting together an audiovisual presentation on her husband that will be screened at the bash.
Confirms Tagore, "Yes, it is his 70th birthday and we are planning a celebration with family and close friends at Pataudi."
When asked about the audiovisual she states, "It is something very personal."
A source close to Saif maintains, "Sharmila has also put together a video of her husband's great milestones in cricket and recorded bytes from close friends and family talking about their interactions with Tiger (Mansur is fondly called that).
Several names from the cricket world are also part of the AV. Kareena has also spoken about him in the audiovisual."
The source adds, "The bash will be an extremely private event for close friends and family. The audiovisual will be screened followed by a sumptuous Nawabi spread with a huge birthday cake for Tiger.
Invitations for the event have been sent to near and dear ones."
