One-film-old Ali Zafar's arrogant behaviour keeps Imran Khan away

Ali Zafar and Imran Khan are playing brothers in Yash Raj's Mere Brother Ki Dulhan but they haven't managed to become even friends on the sets of the film.

Ali plays the brother whose dulhan (Katrina) Imran steals, however off-screen it is not a woman who is cause of animosity between the two actors.

A source from the unit reveals that Imran has been maintaining a distance from the boy from across the border, because he finds his attitude questionable.

Not one to make a display of his disapproval, Khan has withdrawn and doesn't even talk to the Tere Bin Laden actor once they finish a shot.

Initially, things were fine between the two, and Imran even made sure that Ali was comfortable on the set but that didn't last because the newbie started shooting his mouth off.

The source adds, "Imran is the lead actor in the film.

But then he started hearing that Ali was promoting himself as the lead. Not one to react to hearsay, Imran started getting irritated when people close to him also started questioning if he was indeed the lead actor."

Also news reached Khan that Ali was telling people how he's a better actor and that he has better command over Hindi than him.

"Ali was painting him as an English speaking actor and promoting himself as a favourite with the masses. Even though he's just one film old, he's been acting like a star while Khan is totally down-to-earth."

A source close to Imran adds, "He's not affected by anything that Ali says.

Imran is senior to him in every aspect and is only interested in giving the best to his character in the film than diverting his attention to anything else."

Ali says, "I'm shocked by this. In fact, Imran has invited me for his wedding. I have also got the invite. I don't know where these rumours started."
