She was last seen in television in 'Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki' in which she played the role of Draupadi. Since then, Anita was seen only in the reality shows like 'Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi', 'Comedy Circus Ka Jadoo', and 'Dancing Queen'.
It will be her first fiction on television after playing Draupadi. The bubbly actress was not accepted as the docile Draupadi and Ekta could not be successful with the show.
The upcoming show will see Anita acting opposite Ajay Singh Chaudhary from 'Love Story'. The yet untitled thriller show is being made by Vikram Bhatt and will be a weekly show. It is likely to start in a few months on a leading GEC and shooting for it has already started.
In the meantime, Anita has also acted in the films like Ek Se Bure Do, Benny and Babloo and Dus Kahaniyan. However, Anita is hesitant to disclose anything about this upcoming project, saying that it is too early to reveal anything now. But she promised to speak about it once things are finalized.
Well, it will be tough for her to take a decision coming out of the shelter of her mentor Ekta Kapoor.
