Bollywood heartthrob Imran Khan seems to have a double dose of celebration this month as he celebrates his 28th birthday on Thursday, just three days after he tied the nuptial knot with long time friend Avantika Malik.

Few closed friends from the industry and Imran's family members attended the happy moments in Imran-Avantika's life on Jan 10, as the formalities of marriage registration was performed.

The list of B-town celebs who attended his marriage function included names like: Karan Johar, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Paudkone, Katrina Kaif, Sonam Kapoor and Genelia D'Souza.

The newly married couples are currently in Phuket for their honeymoon, reports said.

Imran Khan had a moderate 2010 at the box office with none of his films apart from 'I Hate Luv Stories' impressing his fans.

Hopefully, he will have a better year this time with his much awaited film 'Delhi Belly', set to get released this year
