Director Shaad Ali has denied reports that his film "Bunty Aur Babli" contains sensitive scenes on pundits and Brahmins in northern India and that these could fuel protests against the film.

"It is a media-made story. The film does not have any such scenes. It is a hilarious fun film with comedy, thrills and adventure," Ali revealed at the end of the first 30-day schedule of the film.

Ali denied that he faced problems with the crowds, who had come to witness the Amitabh-Abhishek scenes that he was shooting in Banaras.

"On the contrary the crowds were very enthusiastic and turned out in full strength to see Amitabh Bachchan," he said, adding it was a great experience working with the two Bachchans.

"They were both impeccable in their timing of dialogue delivery."

He considers the film as one of the turning points in his career after his directorial debut, "Saathiya".

"It was a privilege working with a national legend," he adds, referring to the Big B.

"Bunty Aur Babli" depicts the adventurous journey of two strangers Bunty (Abhishek) and Babli (Rani), who are lost in a jungle. Amitabh Bachchan plays a cop hunting for these two characters.
