/> Operation Reconciliation between Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor has started.

It's reliably learnt that the fathers of the two stars divided over the issue of Pankaj Kapoor's working methods, have decided to meet over dinner at the Mausam producer Sheetal Talwar's residence this week to thresh out the differences that have cropped up over Sonam's inability to cope with Pankaj Kapoor's leisurely way of direction.

The need for an emergency meeting between the two Kapoor fathers was felt because Sonam's delayed scheduled were playing havoc with Anees Bazmi's Thank You which is nearing completion.

Anil and Pankaj go back a long way. They did one of their early film Chameli Ki Shaadi together and have remained friends since then.

Says a source, "Since Anees is a close friend of Anil Kapoor he has decided to intervene on Sonam's behalf. A meeting is now being arranged with Pankaj Kapoor by producer Sheetal Talwar. Sonam has already allotted 140 days to Mausam. This is expected to go up by at least 20 more days. The girl has cried to her father asking for help. '

Earlier Anil has helped sort out matters between producers Sheetal Talwar and the Mausam co-producers UTV.

Says the source, "Anil personally sat across the table with UTV to discuss the budget and dates. The film is expected to go over-budget by Rs. 10 crores.

Pankaj who stipulates in his contracts as an actor that he would work no more than six hours per day, makes Sonam wait on the sets for double that time. All this is causing an unprecedented delay in the Punjab schedules.

On top of that Shahid Kapoor left for South Africa earlier this week for a show. When he returned he shot for an ad in Mumbai. The expensive set near Chandigarh was abandoned for a week while Shahid went away. All work had come to a standstill. "
