The reason? All the actors in the film, barring Bipasha Basu and Omi Vaidya, belong to the industry. "I've known Abhishek Bachchan, Bobby Deol, Sonam Kapoor and Seekoo (Sikandar Kher) since childhood. We're all one big family, " says Neil Nitin Mukesh, referring to the star cast of the film.
"Bipasha and Omi Vaidya are the odd ones out. But I love them both so much. We are having the time of our lives, Our next schedule starts this week in Russia, " he says.
The actor has also been pulling Bachchan and Deol's leg by whistling 'Yeh Dosti' from Sholay every time he sees them. Mukesh is a treasure trove of trivia on the Amitabh Bachchan-Dharmendra starrer, Sholay, a film that his directors Abbas and Mustan Burmawalla are equally passionate about. Sometimes, they join in the whistling.
Says a source, "It's quite funny to see the three guys whistling the tune of Yeh Dosti while Bobby and AB Junior duck for cover."
"I'm the biggest Sholay fan and here, I am working with Jai (Dharmendra) and Veeru's (Amitabh Bachchan) sons! I can't believe my luck. The first time I saw Bobby and Abhishek, I sat myself down between them and whistled Yeh Dosti. Since then, I break into the number every time I see them, and Abbas-Mustan join in, " Mukesh says.
The Italian Job is a Hollywood film that centres around a gang of thieves who create a really huge traffic jam in order to orchestrate a heist.
