Despite her tiff with her former secretary Prakash Jaju and her reported link up with Akshay Kumar and
Harman Baweja, actress Priyanka Chopra seems to be making all the right moves in her career.
She has got the choicest of films lined up, among them Vipul Shah's "Waqt" (with Amitabh Bachchan and
Akshay Kumar), Devgan Entertainments' "Blackmail" (with Ajay Devgan and Suniel Shetty), Harry Baweja's
"Karm" (working title) with John Abraham, and Rakesh Roshan's next film as well.
The latest is that Subhash Ghai has decided to cast her once again, reports Bollywood Trade.
Priyanka's father Ashok Chopra confirmed the news. "There is definitely another project lined up with
Subhashji though things are yet to be finalised.
"Priyanka's professionalism and the conviction with which she essayed the role in 'Aitraaz' has definitely
impressed Subhashji, which is why he is doing another film with her," said Chopra.
"It is all about testing your acting skills to the hilt, which is what Priyanka is doing by accepting versatile
roles. Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor explored negative roles earlier, as did Ajay Devgan.
"Everyone can run around trees and sing songs but the real talent comes to the fore only when you do a
challenging role."
Chopra also denied rumours that Priyanka has hiked her price after having signed Rakesh Roshan's
film.
"She never hikes her price just because she has the best of roles in the kitty. Her only criterion is to seek
challenging and interesting roles," he said.
Chopra said he was enjoying doubling up as a father and secretary to his daughter.
"It reminds me of the days when I would drop her to school every day. I used to be extremely protective
about her.
"Earlier, when I was not looking after the work, there was a certain negativity between us which does not
exist anymore. Today she considers me her best friend," he says.
