"Dolly Bindra is definitely in demand and was best suited for the role. We can't divulge the exact amount but it is around Rs.1 crore. The amount is confidential and an understanding between us and Dolly, " Ravinder Gautam, producer-director of the show told on phone from Mumbai.
Ever since her stint on the reality show "Bigg Boss 4", Dolly has become a sought- after name in showbiz.
"Armanon Ka Balidaan" is a love story with the anti-reservation issue as its backdrop and Dolly will be seen as an aggressive Kabootari Mai, who runs a family business of funeral services.
She will be introduced Feb 15.
"Yes, Dolly was offered a show with Sara Khan on Zee TV 'Ram Milaayi Jodi'. But she has not signed that show and accepted our offer. The moment we narrated the character to her, she accepted there and then, " said Gautam.
