Akshay Kumar will begin the two-hour puja this afternoon at his Rajesh Khanna's bungalow
Akshay Kumar is a religious guy. He greets his friends with a Jai Mata Di, he visits the Vaishnodevi temple in Jammu every year. And now, he has organised a
havan at his father-in-law Rajesh Khanna's bungalow, Aashirwaad.
The bungalow on Carter Road now sports a spanking new and improved look, unlike its rundown state last year.
Private event
The puja will start in the afternoon and go on for a couple of hours. It will be a private event with only family members
attending.
A source reveals, "Akshay wanted to do the havan as a general well-being blessing for his entire family. The actor consulted a
pandit and checked for an auspicious muhurat for invoking blessings.
A cleanser
This havan is considered to be cleansing the house of negative energy and for the general well-being of people who live in the
house. AK is close to his father-in-law and wanted to do this havan for a long time."
Other than Akshay and Tina, Rinke, her husband and Dimple will be present during the ritual.
