Friends and co-workers swear by Salman Khan's warm helpful nature. The actor is now lending a helping hand to Kangna Ranaut for her next film with Madhavan Tanu weds Manu.

The lead pair had appeared on Bigg Boss 4 and had talked about the film. Also, Kangna and Khan are both currently shooting in Bangkok for their respective films.

They were staying at the same hotel, and would often bump into each other.

Bhai's advice

During one such chance encounter, Kangna began talking about her upcoming film, and sought help from Salman for some cool marketing ideas.

"She said the film is very close to her heart and that she would appreciate any help. Salman, whose last film Dabangg was brilliantly marketed, advised her on how to go about it.

Then he went two steps ahead and called channel heads like Ashwini Yardi (Colours) and Manisha (Sony) to put in a word to drum support for the film on the channel's daily soaps and reality shows."

Kangna says, "Salman has been very sweet and helpful and I really appreciate his gesture and taking time out to help me, in spite of being such a big star. He is a good friend."
