Producer Manjeet Maan, who last won critical acclaim for her "Zindagi Khoobsurat Hai", is planning a simultaneous Indian and international release for her Punjabi-English bilingual, "Des Ho Ya Pardes".

The Gurdas Mann-Juhi Chawla-Divya Dutta-Parmeet Sethi starrer, revolving around a true story in Punjab, is hot in the international market, according to Maan, who recently clinched a deal for the North American rights of the film with overseas distributors.

"I am now negotiating with UK distributors for the film. Films based in Punjab are a great draw among the Asian audiences settled in the UK, most of whom have their roots in Punjab," says Maan, who is also expecting the music of the film to click in a big way in the overseas market.

"Gurdas has written and sung all the songs in the film and he has a great following among the audiences there," she was quoted as saying by Bollywood Trade.
