Someone tried to get extra footage at the expense of Mrs Nene. Yes, it is none other than Madhuri`s co star in the film `Yeh Raaste Hain Pyaar Ke` .Madhuri was informed of the editing of some of her scenes from the movie. She immediately took it up with the director Deepak Shivdasani. Deepak was obviously surprised to know about Madhuri being aware of this development.

According to Deepak there were discussions to edit some of Madhuri`s scenes to give extra footage to Preity Zinta. Madhuri has been assured by Deepak that no important scenes of hers were edited and that she was the leading lady of the film and Preity would always play second fiddle.
