A self-confessed car aficionado, Tusshar Kapoor is on his way to becoming a biker. His first buy, the Suzuki Hayabusa GSX-R 1300 (2011) comes home this week.
However, he insists the inspiration to change track came not from Golmaal buddies Ajay Devgn or Rohit Shetty -- both avid bikers. But after making a bike entry on Comedy Circus last week. TK is a judge on the television show.
Feel envious
Says the actor, "I have always been passionate about bikes but never owned one as I was interested only in buying my own house and cars. Those were my priorities.
The only bike riding I did was in films but I would always be envious of other stars who had bikes. But when I rode one into the Comedy Circus set, I realised that this was something I needed for my own now."
Though Tusshar had time for just one rehearsal, he rode like a pro as he's used to riding bikes. "I learnt how to ride bikes when I took my acting lessons.
Apart from fight classes I would learn how to ride bikes on an elevated platform on Juhu beach. Though my gym was close to my Juhu home but I would never take my car but always use my trainer's bike. I guess I am one of those bike lovers whose passion just got disclosed!"
Clear choice
The Kapoor boy is very clear about the model he wants -- the sporty and fast Hayabusa. He has already gone through brochures and has decided on a model. His favourite color is black so he is going for the pearl nebular black with red trim.
