Ekta Kapoor wants scenes in Ragini MMS reshot

The not-easy-to-please Ekta Kapoor saw the first cut of her next, Ragini MMS and asked for certain scenes to be re-shot.

The film, due for release May 13, may have the date postponed. Says our source, "Ekta loved the rushes but felt the scare factor needed to be upped."

Director Pawan Kripalani says, "It's a work in progress. Ekta has no issues with the film. The first cut is very long and we are tying to cut it down to 90 minutes."

He adds what Ekta saw is just a rough cut devoid of sound design and visual effects. "Take any great film and remove the sound and visual effects it will loose its impact, " he remarks.

The TV czarina plays it down as well. "Two scene effects are being re-done. Its half a day's work", noting, "Someone is spreading rumours about the film. Also, the release date remains the same, Friday, May 13."
