Lara Dutta is in talks to make her debut on the small screen.
Sources reveal that the fitness enthusiast who recently launched her own DVD, is now set to host the desi version of the reality show Extreme Makeover. Negotiations are on to discuss money and the show's tenure.
Several offers
A source reveals, "She has had several offers to do different kind of shows. But EM has caught her attention and she's willing to consider the offer. It will be an all-women cast with 14 contestants.
These girls will be given a complete makeover in terms of hair, make-up and dress appeal."
And though, she hasn't signed on the dotted line yet, Lara will most likely host the show.
Her spokesperson however maintains, "Lara's busy right now with Don 2 and the release of Chalo Dilli. She's not looking at anything else for the moment."
Fact: A few years ago, Mona Singh shot for a few episodes of Naya Roop Nayi Zindagi which was also the desi version of Extreme Makeover. It showcased distraught individuals, facing stigma, loneliness due to some physical features.
