Ajay Devgan's 'Once Upon A Time IN Mumbai' has got 12 nominations in this years International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) award that will be staged in Toronto this year, media reports said.
Once Upon a Time in Mumbai is giving tough competition to Salman Khan starrer 'Dabanng' that has received 11 nominations this year.
His close competitors in this category will also feature names like Shah Rukh Khan (My Name is Khan), Ranbir Kapoor (Raajneeti) and Hrithik Roshan (Guzaarish) amd Akshay Kumar (Tees Maar Khan & Action Replayy).
Devgan will also be seen giving close fight to Salman Khan for grabbing the 'Best Actor' award and in the 'Best Film' category.
The award will be held in Jun 23 to Jun 25 this year.
The 'Yuva' actor played the role of the legendary Haji Mastan in the film.
"It's my second innings where I play a mafia after films like Company. And more than anything this is one role that anyone would have loved to play. I am lucky to have got the chance once again to play a mafia," he had said before the release of the film.
