Veteran actor Anupam Kher, who has been in the film industry for 27 years, is to be honoured at a function in Toronto for completing 400 movies.

"On my way to a function in Toronto honoring me for my completion of 400 films. Thank you audiences in India & Abroad for your blessings. More than 400 films in 27 yrs is possible only because one dared to dream (sic), " Anupam posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.

In Toronto, the 56-year-old will also have a screening of his film "Breakway", which is Bollywood star Akshay Kumar's first international venture. The film is based in Canada, and narrates an emotional father-son story.
