Mouthing regularly used 'bad' lingo in Bollywood films is not uncommon. It's about changing with the times.
Films like yeh saali zindagi and No one killed Jessica had a flurry of swear words, mouthed by talented actors like Rani
Mukherjee, Vidya Balan, Chitrangada. The commonly used five letter word 'Bitch' has suddenly become a big deal with the
censors, if sources are to be believed.
The forthcoming black comedy Shor in the City (starring Tusshar Kapoor, Preeti Desai, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Nikhil Diwedi
and Radhika Apte) has the racy 'Karma Is A Bitch', the music of which has been given by Sachin and Jigar (the duo that
gave the chartbuster, 4 baj gaye lekin party abhi baaki hai from Faltu.)
Says producer Ekta Kapoor, "We haven't
been informed yet about the beeping of 'bitch' in the final film and I hope that won't be the case. 'Bitch' is not a swear word
by any stretch of imagination. It's common parlance."
