In a first of its kind initiative, Zee Trendz partnered with Fourth Pevonia asiaSpa India Awards to award the Indian wellness industry.

And where there's luxury and high life, could Bollywood be far behind? Eternal diva Rekha, the beautiful Rani Mukherjee and the recently married Gul Panag were just some of the stars who graced the occasion.

With a 500+ guest list, the evening was one of opulence and celebration as 28 lucky winners highlighted and paid accolades to the latest in spa trends.

Rani Mukherjee was awarded with the Spa Diva 2010 Award, Vijendra Singh bagged the Wellness Icon 2010 Award. Rekha, known to be a very private person, made a rare appearance for the occasion where she unveiled her exclusive interview and photo shoot.

The actor was greeted by modern-day diva Rani Mukerji. The two were seen exchanging not just hugs and pleasantries, but also compliments.

After countless air – kisses and hugs between the two and Mukherjee doing a paeri-pauna to Rekha the latter handed over the title of Spa Diva to the former. The warmth between Rani, dressed in a red-and-gold bordered white sari, and Rekha, draped in her signature Kanjeevaram, was noteworthy.

"One should'nt call me a diva in the presence of the only diva in Bollywood ... Rekhaji. But yes, spas rock. I love massages, " was Mukherjee's acceptance speech.
