Ranveer Singh bagged the Talent of the Year award at the first Jeeyo Bollywood Awards.

The awards are purely driven by popular vote and UTV Movies and PVR Cinemas are collaborating for the award concept.

The voting format sees the aam junta come centrestage as they get the opportunity to personally hand over the trophies to the winners stars.

Mumbai-based financial advisor Shashi Kataria met her idol, the Band Baaja Baaraat hero and was overwhelmed on meeting him.

She says, "I loved Ranveer's comic timing in BBB. Despite it being his debut film, he has performed exceptionally and is sure to reach great heights."
