With distributors scrambling to release their films Dec 24, the producers of "Dil Maange More" have postponed their film by a week, Bollywood Trade reported Monday.

"We were not getting the prime cinemas for the film and were not open to the idea of sharing show time with other films. Moreover the theatres playing 'Swades' would not have liked to discontinue the film after a week," said Nikhil Panchamiya, producer of the film.

"The distributors of my film also felt that we wouldn't be doing justice to the film by compromising on the chain of theatres. That's why the postponement," he added.

So the film will now be released Dec 31.
