Mumbai-based Indian metal band Bhayank Maut have lent a song from their album to Anurag Kashyap's upcoming production venture "Shaitan", but drummer Rahul Hariharan says they have no plans to compose music for Hindi movies.

Bejoy Nambiar, the director of the film, chose the English song "Habemus Papam" from the band's 2009 album "Untitled Bhayanak Maut Album" for the film that revolves around five youngsters and their scary and life-chaning experiences. Actors Kalki Koechlin, Kirti Kulhari, Rajeev Khandelwal, Gulshan Deviah, Shiv Pandit and Neil Bhoopalam will help the director in narrating the story on screen.

"Vinay, our vocalist, was friends with Bejoy and it started out as a casual conversation where Bejoy mentioned that he is working on a movie. Then our manager at that time Shashwat Gupta told us that one of our songs might be used in the film. So that's how it began and one of our songs was taken in the film," Rahul Hariharan, the band's drummer told.

"We didn't compose the song specifically for the film. This song is part of an album that we released in 2009. Bejoy personally chose that song. He had seen us playing that live. He liked the energy and the pace of the song," he added.

Although the band had no problems in sharing this song with the film, they don't see themselves composing for Hindi films in the future as they sing in English only.

"Honestly we are not really open to films. We are a heavy metal band. This just came our way. We didn't go looking for it. We don't see a viable relationship between our band and Bollywood. It sort of worked here because Bejoy needed one hard paced song for this sequence.

"Maybe other metal bands who can sing in Hindi can do Bollywood. But for us I think this will be our only experience with Bollywood," said Rahul.

Other members of the band include Vinay Venkatesh (Vocals), Sunneith Revankar (Vocals), Venkatraman (Guitar), Aditya Nair (Guitar) and Vinit Barucha (Bass guitar).
