Dharmendra has decided to get net savvy. The septuagenarian, who feels lost when people around him talk about Twitter, Facebook and blogging has decided to start a video blog to be more connected with his masses.
Dharam paaji will today, launch a Deol page on a popular video-sharing website. He will be doing live blogs. The veteran actor's Vijeta Films website will also get an overhaul.
Says Dharmendra, "All these years, we have preferred to remain low-profile. For us old-timers, the beauty was in being covered up but, it is all in-your-face today.
We kept our personal lives private but now showbiz is all about show, rather all about showing off! Stars have disrobed themselves through these mediums. I too, have decided to do likewise."
The original Punjab Ka Puttar feels through his video blogs he can be more visible. "After Yamla Pagla Deewana, we realised it is important to be more accessible.
The audience loved us but we too, must be out there and available to them. At the moment, it will be live blogging. Let's see what I can do next."
