Former India captain Sourav Ganguly is all set to host the Bengali version of the international game show- "Who wants to be a Millionaire", on Bengali TV channel Mahuaa Bangla.

Grand quiz master of India Siddharta Basu, responsible for producing the popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), is behind ‘Ke Hobey Banglar Kotipoti'.

Moreover he is also producing the Bhojpuri version of the show starring veteran actor Shatrugan Sinha in the channel's Bhojpuri counterpart.

Ke Hobey Banglar Kotipoti will be aired from June 6 at 9 pm on weekdays.

Siddharta Basu said, "It's a great pleasure to conduct a show which will be the biggest and most expensive among the programmes in the regional level."

He further added that Sourav Ganguly has justified the demand of the character of hosting a game show.

Sourav Ganguly said, "This show is more rigid and particular. You have to follow strict rules. I will do it in my way."

"I have tried my best to appeal the viewers and entertain them as well as the participants," he said.
