Dharmendra is all set to make his television debut. The actor will appear as one of the judges on India's Got Talent.
Though there were speculations that the veteran actor had been approached for a reality show, the original Punjab Ka Puttar is now finally taking the small screen plunge.
Says a source, "The makers of the reality show, which has people from all over the country display their unique skills, were keen to have him on board.
Dharam Paaji has a unique connect with the common man both the young and the old. He still has his fan following as the He-Man of B-Town."
It is learnt that the septuagenarian has agreed to do the show but has yet to sign on the dotted line. He is slated to travel to Kolkata for the first round of auditions from June 21. When asked about his TV stint, Dharmendra states, "Everyone tells me I should do it. I am thinking of giving it a shot."
This will be the third season of India's Got Talent. The first season had Shekhar Kapur, Kirron Kher and Sonali Bendre as judges.
While in the second season Sajid Khan stepped in along with Kirron and Sonali. Sajid is now busy with his film Housefull 2 and cannot do the show.
Dharam's son Sunny Deol will also be seen in a stunt-based reality show Jaanbaaz.
