Award-winning actor, Raghubir Yadav, who was last seen in Peepli [Live] has been in news lately over a legal battle with estranged wife Poornima.
From the sets of his next movie Ek Tha Bura Aadmi in Udaipur, he says that though his professional life is on track, his personal life has hit a rocky terrain.
"I don't know who to blame. May be it is because of bad karmas in my past life, " the Massey Saab actor says. Poornima and Raghubir were separated about 15 years ago.
The legal clash occurred when she started demanding an exorbitant amount as post-divorce maintenance from him.
Can't afford it
The actor, who now stays with current partner Roshni Achreja says, "She (Poornima) wants a lot of money that I cant give her.
She wants R 3 lakh per month as maintenance. Do you think I make that kind of money?" Having been excommunicated from his 22-year-old son, Achal, has shattered Yadav.
He says, "I am very attached to him. He is my only son. I am not even allowed to meet him. I am alive only for him. I went into depression when my wife accused me of kidnapping him."
Support system
So who has been his support system in these tough times? "Roshni has been a great support. I have friends but none of them supported me in my difficult times. They in fact made it worse, " he adds bitterly.
Besides, ETBI, Raghubir will soon be seen in Nagesh Kukunoor's Mod and Rakesh Ranjan Kumar's Dera Friend Hitler.
