Popular jewellery brand Diya Diamonds on Monday announced "Plant a Tree" initiative with actor Celina Jaitley, who was present at the event to pledge her support for the cause on the occasion of World Environment Day.

Diya Diamond's planet friendly initiative on World Environment Day aims to create awareness and educate the society on the importance of a Green Nation.

On this occasion Jaitley, Brand ambassador of Diya Diamonds, said: "I am proud to be associated with this initiative by Diya Diamonds. This activity is the perfect platform to create awareness about our environmental issues and a step in the right direction.

Niyat Parekh, Brand Head- Gitanjali Brands Ltd. announced the initiative and planted the first sapling to support this eco-friendly cause.
