Everyone knows about Tabu's special friendship with Telugu superstar Nagarjuna.

Turns out the actor has another close friend -- Sajid Nadiadwala. But it wasn't always so. Their friendship went kaput almost a decade ago, but sources say, Nadiadwala has always looked out for Tabu secretly.

"Sajid continues to be a pillar of support for Tabu, " said a source. "Their relationship as a couple ended and Nadiadwala is now happily married.

He now shares a completely different equation with Tabu. She knows she can depend on him any time she needs any kind of support.

Tabu doesn't stay in touch too often with those close to her -- Nagarjuna, Gulzar Saab and Sajid. But these men know she can show up in their lives any time she wants and she's most welcome."

Nadiadwala recently spoke to Tabu after she won the Padma Shri. They chatted for more than an hour. The conversation made them realise how deeply connected they are. Now they've decided to stay connected more regularly."

When asked, Nadiadwala is refreshingly frank about his friendship with the beautiful actor.

"Of course, we have remained friends. Why should we not? We are grown-up people.Yes I did speak to her after a long time when she got the Padma Shri. It was just like the old times.

With Tabu you never feel the passage of time." Reports say Tabu will soon be part of Nadiadwala's projects later this year. The last and only time they worked together was in Jeet in 1996. Nadiadwala however, brushes off all suggestions of a professional alliance with Tabu.
