It's been over a decade since the R.K.Films produced any film, but if Randhir Kapoor is to be believed, the banner will be back into business soon.

"The last film we produced was 'Aa Ab Laut Chalein'. It wa released in 1999. I know it's been a long time...but we will make a film soon," said Randhir here.

The actor was here with his mother Krishna Raj Kapoor, brothers Rishi and Rajiv, sisters Ritu and Reema, as well as sister-in-law Neetu, for the official street naming ceremony of a Raj Kapoor Crescent - a new street to be introduced in the infrastructure of Brampton city.

Randhir also said that they will be open to work with the new wave of directors in the film industry, and might even give a chance to a beginner.

R.K.Films was formed in 1948. There were talks that Raj Kapoor's grandson, actor Ranbir Kapoor has plans to revive the banner.
