To be telecast on Sahara TV from Mondays to Thursdays at 10 p.m., the serial is being produced and directed by Ravi Chopra of B.R. Films, known for highly acclaimed and successful films like "Naya Daur", "Nikaah", the recent success "Baghban" as well as the highly successful TV serial "Mahabharat".
"While the roles in 'Seeta Aur Geeta' were that of young girls, those in "Kamini Damini" are women in their middle ages. In this sense, there is a greater maturity to my roles in the serial," she said.
Ravi Chopra said: "Part of the serial will be shot abroad. "It could be either Malaysia or Dubai, we still have to finalised that."
She revealed further that she wants to direct Esha in a movie. "That's going to be my next foray into Bollywood movies. I already have the script ready for this film. It will be a very special film for her career.
"I have not yet decided who will play the lead opposite her at the same I'm still in the lookout for a good filmmaker who would do justice to my film," she said.
