Kailash, who is one of the "Gurus" in the popular singing talent hunt show on Zee TV-Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs, had earlier expressed his dissatisfaction with Alka's judgement when she ruled against two of Kailash's students.
He said, "There is great understanding between us."
"I felt very sad that time when two of my disciples went out together", he added.
Kailash who had arrived in the city on Thursday for promoting two of the contestants, Niladri Chakraborty and Salman Ali, felt that both the children were extremely talented and deserving of the accolades they were receiving.
He remarked, "These two are gems."
Kailash denied the allegation that participating in such shows can have a negative impact on the education of the children.
He said, "There will be no effect on education for the kids."
He rejected the idea that winners of such reality shows gradually fade to oblivion once the hype surrounding them stops after the show is over.
He stated, "They are busy and they are earning enough through singing."
"Their fans will always remember them", he added.
Kailash expressed his keen desire to make an album on Nazrul Geeti (songs of poet Nazrul Islam) and Rabindra Sangeet (songs of poet Rabindranath Tagore).
On being probed about his upcoming works he said that he has done playback singing for a film called "Rang Rasiya" and he has sung and composed for a film called "Soundtrack", both of which will be released in some time.
