There have been quite a lot of jokes about Himesh Reshammiya's international plans. International names were dropped into the press and then dropped out entirely leading to widespread speculation about the veracity of Himesh's global aspirations.

But now we've come to know from international sources that Himesh has indeed collaborated with an international artiste. And one that's riding pretty high on the global charts.

Romanian musician, composer, producer and performer Edward Maya who had a huge international chartbuster ‘Stereo Love' in 2009 followed by the equally-successful ‘Desert Rain' , has remixed one of the tracks from Himesh's international album Da Edge.

The remix of Himesh's track by Edward Maya will be released in 122 countries in October.

We also came to know that a music video will be shot for the Himesh-Edward Maya track by the renowned Roman White who has directed videos for international superstars like Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift. The video shot by Roman White will feature Himesh and Edward Maya.

When contacted Himesh admits, "Yes, Edward Maya has remixed one of the songs from my international album. The thing is, I am not doing a crossover album or a fusion album or a ‘Hinglish' album. Da Edge is a full-fledged English-language album and will be treated on a par with any international musoc product. "

The album will be released jointly on Himesh's label HR Musik and Universal in 122 countries.
