Director Onir's "I AM", that takes audiences through issues and dilemmas that bruise modern society, has been officially selected for the Durban International Film Festival starting July 22. Touching upon subjects like sperm donation, child sexual abuse and homosexuality, the film, starring Nandita Das, Juhi Chawla, Manisha Koirala, Sanjay Suri and Rahul Bose, also marks the acting debut of two directors Anurag Kashyap and Anurag Basu. "'I AM' officially selected for Durban Intl Film Festival followed by World Cinema-Amsterdam (sic)," Sanjay posted on his Twitter account. Director Onir congratulated his entire crew by posting: "CONGRATULATIONS to the entire IAM team, our film has been selected for the DURBAN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL." The film has earlier been showcased at the London Asian Film Festival, the Kandy International Film Festival and the International Film Festival Rotterdam.
