Jan 21 will be a crucial day for the industry, with several major releases lined up on the day, including "Black", "Kisna" and "Bewafaa", reports Bollywood Trade.
Leading the list is Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Black" and Subhash Ghai's "Kisna", both of which are being eagerly awaited.
While the pre-release countdown for "Black" and its marketing campaign still remains a closely guarded secret, the film is being looked forward to for stellar performances by
both Amitabh Bachchan and Rani Mukherjee in the roles of a mentor and a blind student.
On the other hand, Subhash Ghai's bilingual "Kisna" (in English and Hindi) attempts to bring back the days of the British Raj through an Indian (Vivek Oberoi) who falls in
love with a British girl played by Antonia Bernath. The response to the film is crucial for both Ghai, who last received a setback in "Yaadein", and Vivek Oberoi, who was
disillusioned with the response to his last release, "Kyon Ho Gaya Na".
