Aamir Khan dismisses reports that he recently purchased the car and even paid Rs 47 lakh as tax; Khan is currently in Bali holidaying with wife Kiran Rao

Aamir Khan, who is currently holidaying in Bali, Indonesia with Kiran Rao, seems to be astounded over reports of him having bought a Rolls Royce recently. Moreover, he's shocked that the Satara RTO officials have even confirmed that the car belonged to the actor-filmmaker, it is learnt.

A close friend of Aamir told us that the actor-filmmaker is upset that the Satara RTO officials have even declared that he paid Rs 47 lakh as tax for his new acquisition and an additional sum of Rs 3 lakh for the special registration number -- MH 11 AX 1.

Reportedly, the car has been registered in the name of Advital Post Studios Ltd and the address given is 7D, Silver Valley Society, Khingar, Taluka Mahabaleshwar.

A friend of the Khan family asserted that Aamir has a bungalow in Panchgani and the last car he purchased was a steel grey Bentley, a couple of months ago.

Earlier this year, he bought a Mercedes Benz as a gift for Kiran after the success of Dhobi Ghat.

Reacting to his reports of having bought the metallic silver luxury car, Aamir, who flew to Bali after the success party of Delly Belly on July 6, stated via a text message: "I'm surprised by the reports. I have not bought a Rolls Royce at all."
