The noted designer showcased his collection named "Shanti" while actor Arjun Rampal playing the showstopper added to the audience's joy during the show.
Dressed in black attire with velvet jacket and black shades, Rampal's entry was greeted with loud applause, as he walked over the ramp with style and attitude in Rohit Bal's creation.
"Walking for Rohit has always been wonderful. He is the one who discovered me in a nightclub, gave me a great platform to start off and gave me lot of confidence. He has taught me a lot about fashion and I can never say no to him, " Rampal said after the show.
The actor, who even had 'showstopper' written on his T-shirt, looked embarrassed when he dropped off his shades while walking on the ramp.
"It was Rohit who asked me to wear shades. He asked me to walk in seriously and then take off my shades and in that process the shades fell off, " Rampal said later.
"Fashion is fun and as long as you are having fun you would be creative, " he added.
Rohit Bal, meanwhile, mesmerised the audience with his collection "Shanti", which he said, "is all about peace, ecstasy and feeling good from within."
His collection displayed his signature style - floral motifs in different patterns on the garments. The collection had a rich look with extensive use of zippers.
The colour palatte included whites, golden, blacks, blues and purples. The collection included gowns, jackets, overcoats, lehengas.
Like designer Manish Malhotra, Bal also showcased some of the men's wear collection which mostly included shewanis and overcoats.
