Sajid Khan's next, Houseful 2, has Asin, Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, the director's close friend Riteish Deshmukh, and even item number supremos Zarine Khan and the director's rumoured girlfriend Jacqueline Fernandez to dazzle.
So, when Farah Khan was called in to London to choreograph a special item song that features all them all, why did comedian Johhny Lever walk away with the best dance moves?
Sajid said he asked his choregrapher sister to give Lever the best moves, because "he is a highlight in my film." According to sources, the real reason was the fear of clashing star egos.
"Farah had the responsibility of handling so many stars. And they were worried that the item song would go to Sajid's ladylove Jacqueline, " said a source.
"Farah had just a few hours to shoot the song before she flew back to Mumbai for a dance reality show. The last thing she wanted were star tantrums. To circumvent the
problem, the best steps were given to an unexpected candidate." When Khan was contacted, she said, "My brother had given me instructions to give prominence to only one actor. And that was Johnny Lever."
However, only half of the song titled, right Now, has been shot. The remainder will be filmed in Mumbai. The stars still have reason to worry because when Khan was asked to describe the song, she said, "The song has to be sexy and funny."
If funny is being tackled by Lever, will sexy be taken over by Fernandez?
