Dharmendra is judging the third season of 'India's Got Talent' along with actress Kirron Kher and Sonali Bendre. The show is aired on Colors Channel. As per the data provided by Colors, the show on its opening day (July 29) garnered average rating was 3.91 TVR, which is higher than any other non-fiction launched in 2011.
The peak rating of the launch episode was 5.4 TVR. The show surpassed actor Hrithik Roshan's debut dance reality show 'Just Dance' of Star Plus, which scored a TVR of 3.7, the data stated. "'India's Got Talent' has shown impressive ratings for the opening week.
The show has beaten shows from the competing channels in the genre and the time slot to emerge the winner in 2011. It has been a very gratifying period and we are hoping to keep up this momentum throughout the season," Colors, Head of Programming, Ashvini Yardi, said.
"Also, 36 million viewers clued into the show on the first two days," Yardi claimed. Easily, Dharmendra is pleased by the response.
"When I heard that as many as 35 million people tuned in to watch our show India's Got Talent on the first two days of the launch, I was very excited about it. I am delighted that audiences are as excited about the show as we who work to make the show happen," Dharmendra said.
"I know with all the fabulous talent that we are getting to see on the show, the audiences will come back to us again and again. It is a great show which will only keep getting better and better, he said.
The data further states, among the other top-rated reality shows this year were actress Preity Zinta's show 'Guinness World Records Ab india Todega', which opened with a 3.3 TVR, followed by actor Akshay Kumar's 'Khataron Ke Khiladi 4' (both Colors) with 3.0 TVR. And Zee TV's 'Saregamapa Li'l Champs' opened with a 2.7 TVR.
