"India's Got Talent", Bollywood veteran Dharmendra's small screen debut, has garnered maximum television rating points
(TRPs), scoring over Hrithik Roshan's "Just Dance", Preity Zinta's "Guinness World Records - Ab India Todega" and even
Akshay Kumar's "Khatron Ke Khiladi 4".
Dharmendra, 76, is one of the judges on the talent hunt show with actors Kirron Kher and Sonali Bendre. The launch episode of
the show, aired on Colors July 29, received a rating of 3.9, according to data by media research agency TAM.
Star Plus' "Just Dance", which has Hrithik and choreographers Farah Khan and Vaibhavi Merchant as judges, received an
opening rating of 3.7, "Guinness World Records - Ab India Todega", with Preity as its host, opened with a 3.3 rating, while
Akshay's daredevil show "Khatron Ke Khiladi 4" got a rating of 3.
Zee TV's popular singing reality show "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs", which has Alka Yagnik, Adnan Sami, Kailash Kher and
Javed Ali as judges, had received an opening rating of 2.7.
It is quite a feat that even after completing 50 years in the film industry, Dharmendra, remembered for his role as Veeru in
"Sholay", still manages to draw in maximum viewers, as opposed to younger actors of tinsel town.
On the big screen, his last appearance was in "Yamla Pagla Deewana" along with his sons Sunny and Bobby.
