Friday marks birthdays of gorgeous Bollywood actors Kajol and Genelia D'Souza, who are known for their spontaneous acting skills.

The ' My Name is Khan' actor turns 37 on Friday, while the Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na girl turns 24.

Kajol's spontaneity as an actor and ability to portray characters has made her one of the reigning stars of Indian Hindi film industry.

She entertained her fans in films like 'Baazigar', 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', 'Fanaa' and 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge'.

In 2011, she added one more feather to her crown as she was conferred Padma Shri award for her contribution towards Indian Cinema by the Government of India.

After gaining wide attention in a Parker Pen commercial with Amitabh Bachchan, D'Souza began her acting career with Tujhe Meri Kasam in 2003.

D'Souza received her first Filmfare Award in 2006 for her performance in the Telugu romantic film, Bommarillu.

In 2008, she gave critically acclaimed performances in Santosh Subramaniam, a Tamil remake of Bommarillu, and the Bollywood movie Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na.

Having acted in several commercially successful movies in Telugu and Tamil, D'Souza has established herself as one of the leading actresses of the South Indian film industry.

In addition to movie acting, D'Souza has hosted the television show Big Switch, and is the brand ambassador of Fanta, Virgin Mobile India, Fastrack, LG Mobiles, Garnier Light, Margo, and Perk in India.

The hotties received wishes from tinsel town through social networking site Twitter.

Filmmaker Karan Johar, whose directorial debut "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai", and several subsequent films featured Kajol, posted: "Its KAJOLS birthday!!! She's not on twitter...but give her love people...she is truly special!! The best actress...and a woman of substance!"

Filmmaker Kunal Kohli, who worked with her in "Fanaa", wrote: "Let's all wish Kajol a very happy bday, truly one of the best and most talented actresses we've ever had. An all time great."

Genelia celebrated her birthday on the sets of "Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya", with co-star and rumoured beau Riteish Deshmukh and the crew of the film.

Riteish wished her on Twitter, saying: "Here's wishing my most favourite @geneliad a very happy birthday. The smile of her face is d reason everyone on d sets is smiling - including me 9 yrs ago v celebrated @geneliad's bday on the sets of our debut film TMK ('Tujhe Meri Kasam') n today on d sets of TNLHG- feels like yesterday- have a great one girl (sic)."

Others like Minissha Lamba, Siddharth, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Rana Daggubati wished the young actress, who made her debut with "Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na".
