"Basic Instinct 2: Risk Addiction" will star Sharon Stone and David Morrissey, the British star of television dramas "The Deal" and "State of Play".

Benjamin Bratt ("Miss Congeniality") and Bruce Greenwood ("I Robot") were previously linked to the role of Scotland Yard's Dr Andrew Glass, reported the Guardian.

The sequel to the hit 1992 film "Basic Instinct" went through years of uncertainty. It is now being produced by the "Terminator" team of Andrew Vajna and Mario Kassar.
